Lotto Carpet, Tote Bag

Regular price $28.00 Sale

This tote bag is made from fabric custom-printed with a late 16th-century Lotto carpet motif, most likely from Turkey. Carpets with yellow arabesques on a red background are known as "Lotto" carpets, referring to The Alms of St. Anthony, a 1542 painting by Lorenzo Lotto that features this style of carpet.

The design wraps across both sides of the tote bag to show most of the original carpet. The bag measures 15 x 15 inches, and uses box-style construction so it sits open for easy loading. Both the tote bag and its lining are 100% spun polyester weather-resistant fabric. The tough and comfortable dual handles are made of 100% bull denim cotton. Made in USA of imported fabric.
