There are especially three types of bed that have been appointed in recent years. Adjustable bed, continental bed and bed frame parts. What sets them apart and how do you choose what is right for you? Continental beds consist of two layers of mattresses plus mattress cover, and are constructed with two to three layers of springs. This provides a very good lying comfort, and although it varies from person to person, these beds are evenly among the most preferred on the Norwegian market.
Frame beds are less advanced than the continental beds, and consist of a layer of mattress plus mattress cover. The mattress itself is attached to a wooden frame so that it can be used as an independent bed on the legs and can also be laid as a mattress in a regular bed. The frame mattress can have one to two layers of springs and is usually perceived as firmer than continental beds.
Some prefer just that and think they get better support for the body when they sleep. Frame beds can be purchased as both single and double beds and are particularly suitable for young people and young adults. It is also easy to put together two single with a common pillow top so that no one ends up in the gap between the beds.
